Samsung Galaxy Note 7 burning a 6 year old to explode in his hands

A 6 year old kid has suffered serious burns after a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploded in his hands. His grandmother has now little afraid to approach any mobile device.

The child was with the phone at home, when suddenly exploded in his hands, she says her grandmother in an interview picked up by the New York Post. "I was watching videos on mobile when the battery exploded," says Linda Lewis.

The child's family called emergency and little was transferred to the medical center with burns on his body. "He will not see anywhere near any phone. He has been crying," says Linda Lewis.

Parents have contacted Samsung to report the incident. The company had already warned users of overheating and explosion of the batteries on the phone, and urged the owners of the devices that were immediately replaced.
