Chambers of Commerce of Cuba and the United States (US) will hold a
meeting Tuesday in Washington, to determine the objectives and end the
economic, commercial and financial blockade, said the president of the
Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, Orlando Hernandez.
At the meeting it takes stock of the achievements since the restoration of diplomatic relations between the two countries in December 2014 announced it will also take place.
In addition, Hernandez reported that it is planned for Thursday, an encounter with different US companies who are interested in investing in Cuba.
The Cuban delegation, which arrived in the US on Monday, is headed by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca.
This set of meetings is part of the agenda that holds both countries after that in December 2014, the US President, Barack Obama, and his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro, announced the decision to restore diplomatic relations, action was materialized on 20 July last year, when it opened again the Cuban embassy in Washington, and August 14, 2015, with the reopening of the US embassy in Cuba.
