Joseph Blatter "is currently in the hospital and preparing to leave Monday and be active again on Tuesday," said Klaus Stöhlker. The same spokesman said last Friday that "the president was in medical evaluation." He confirmed a report by Swiss radio that Blatter was the victim of a "medical accident" the previous weekend, which forced him to be kept under medical observation for ten days.
