The popular instant messaging application WhatsApp, home to more than one billion users worldwide, has released new support native applications based on Windows and Mac OSX operating systems computers, leaving aside the Web version available from last year.
The company, a subsidiary of US technology group Facebook, has announced the availability of two separate download software to chat with contacts WhatsApp, one of the leading online communication services.
Computer versions function as extensions of the main application already installed on your mobile device, forcing have on the same to send messages.
"Just as WhatsApp Web, our desktop application is simply an extension of your mobile phone. The application reflects the discussions and / or messages that are on your phone," says the company in its corporate blog, where considers that the new versions computer open "a new way" to stay connected "anytime and anywhere" using the phone or computer "from the comfort of your home or your work."
The new desktop application WhatsApp is available for operating systems from Windows 8 and Mac OS 10.9. Since the application is run from the computer, WhatsApp will be compatible with standard desktop notifications, best combination of keys.
To download WhatsApp desktop you need to download the program from www.whatsapp.com/download/ from the computer browser. After completing this step you just have to open the app and scan the QR code using the application on the mobile phone. To do this, look for the menu WhatsApp Web Settings.
