A total of 31 passengers were injured on Wednesday aboard a flight Etihad Airways company that crossed a zone of strong turbulence between Abu Dhabi and Jakarta, the company said UAE.

The flight EY474 suffered "violent and sudden turbulence about 45 minutes before arrival at the Soekarno Hatta International airport" Jakarta, capital of Indonesia, Etihad said in a statement.
The aircraft, an Airbus A330-200, landed safely at the airport and Indonesian people injured were treated by medical teams on the ground, according to the company.
