Trump advisers advocate use of the term ' Gestapo ' to describe Cruz campaign

Katrina Pierson, the campaign spokesman Donald Trump, defended the use of the term "Gestapo tactics" to describe the strategy of the campaign Cruz.

"This is a word that defines exactly the kind of misconduct that involves the pursuit of these delegates in a very hostile and intimidating manner", she told Wolf Blitzer, CNN Monday. "I think it is a word that fits and lets everyone know what he's talking."

On Sunday, Paul Manafort, the new convention manager Trump accused Cross campaign "not playing by the rules" and compared his campaign tactics with the secret police of Nazi Germany.

"He is threatening" Manafort said of Cruz on "Meet the Press" on NBC. "When you go to conventions you see these counties tactics, tactics of the Gestapo tactics burn everything that could be useful to the enemy".

Pressured by Blitzer, who noted the difference between bullying tactics and called the Gestapo, police raids helped millions of Jews and sent them to concentration camps in Nazi Germany.

"You're talking about a campaign that does not really care much about political correctness," Pierson said.
