The Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Thursday that it was reasonable to discuss the situation on the oil market and that the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) was trying to organize a meeting with other producers for the next month.
"For our part, we have confirmed the possibility of our participation in this meeting," said Novak told reporters.
"For now, it is on consultation which could be developed on the situation of the market, low prices and options for coordinating production," he said, responding to a question about coordination with OPEC.
