A company plane Wednesday Emirates suffered an accident during landing at Dubai International Airport, announced the office of local government information, and said that "all passengers are safe and sound".
The device, from India, was carrying 275 people on board.
Meanwhile the company confirmed an "incident" at the airport while on social networks images of thick black smoke coming out of a plane were published.
The company, which belongs to the emirate of Dubai, said the accident occurred around 12:45 (0845 GMT).
The authorities also announced the suspension until further order of all arrivals and exiting the airport.
This is the first air company in the Middle East, with over 153 destinations.
