A plane with 248 people aboard made an emergency landing in Tokyo


An aircraft of the airline Hawaiian Airlines with 248 people on board made an emergency landing at Narita International Airport in Tokyo on Wednesday night.
The plane, a Boeing 767 that went from Chitose (on the northern island of Hokkaido) about 20.00 local time (11 GMT) bound for Honolulu (Hawaii, USA), had to stop at Narita airport with a hydraulic problem .The emergency landing took place around midnight after the pilot detected a problem in the oil pressure system.None of the 236 passengers or 12 crew members aboard the flight HA442 damaged.Passengers and staff of the company will come to Honolulu today about 16:00 local time (7 GMT), confirmed Hawaiian Airlines.This is the second emergency landing of an airplane Hawaiian airline in the Japanese capital so far this month.On July 18 an Airbus A330 of the company returned to Tokyo's Haneda airport shortly after takeoff after detecting a hydraulic problem.None of the 293 people on board was damaged, but one of the four runways of the airfield, the busiest in Japan remained closed for about nine hours, resulting in the cancellation of 14 domestic flights, affecting about 2,000 passengers.
