The diminutive size of the Titanic against a current supercruiser




The Titanic has been and will be a legendary ship that all attach a prodigious size. The reality, however, is that the legendary liner that struck an iceberg and sank in the Atlantic was not so great. Above you can see a show in which its front almost swallowed by the colossal image of the Oasis of the Seas, one of the ships of the world's largest recreational appreciated.

The Titanic measuring 28.19 meters wide (manga), 269.06 long (length) and overall height of 53.3 meters (prop). Also it had nine decks with a total capacity of 2,787 passengers. By comparison, the Oasis of the Seas is a monster 47 meters wide, 361.8 meters long and 72 meters air draft (the distance between the highest point of the ship and the waterline). Her decks are raised to 16, and can accommodate up to 6,300 passengers.

Completed in September 2009, the ship has been chartered by Royal Caribbean International, and has flag of the Bahamas. In March this year, Royal Caribbean announced that from September 2014, the cruise would leave Barcelona on a regular basis for his travels around the Mediterranean.
