Former security services contractor Edward Snowden US again figure on a list of candidates to win the Nobel Peace Prize, Reuters reports.
The peace negotiators in Colombia and Greek citizens who helped Syrian refugees are also on the list. In addition, Nobel watchers admitted the possibility that the negotiators of the agreement on the nuclear program of Iran can receive the award. Monday is the deadline for nominations.
"The 2016 could finally be the year of Edward Snowden (...) Your leaks are now having a positive effect," he told Reuters Kristian Berg Harpviken, director of the Institute for Peace Research in Oslo.
