An earthquake of magnitude 6.0 on the Richter scale rocked about 20 cities in the central and northern Chile, no report of personal misfortunes or property damage, despite the lengthy phenomenon.
According to the National Seismological Centre of the University of Chile, the earthquake was felt after 10 pm (local time) on Thursday and its epicenter was 42 kilometers west of the town and 415 kilometers Punitaqui north of Santiago.
