The US president, Barack Obama, issued on Thursday again called on Congress to lift the embargo on Cuba, the first anniversary of the start of diplomatic rapprochement between Washington and Havana.
In a message for the anniversary of the bilateral talks, Obama said that "Congress can support a better life for the Cuban people by lifting the embargo, which is the legacy of a failed policy."
