Banco Santander has ceased to be the largest bank in the eurozone by market capitalization.

Specifically, the bell, BNP had a size of 65.547 million euros by 64.608 million of Santander, which has now undergone a remarkable fall of 4.8% due to the strong turbulence that the outcome of the elections has caused in the Spanish financial markets.
This situation has added to the difficulties in Latin America, a key market for Banco Santander, and complicated business prospects that has the whole banking to, among other things, the narrow margins.
All this has meant that the company has lost 31% in the year. The drop is even more important if one looks at the month of April, when the bank first exceeded 100,000 million capitalization. Since then, the action of Santander, which is 4.4 euros, has fallen 34%.
