The US Congress on Tuesday renewed a ban on transferring prisoners placed in the prison at Guantanamo Bay, on the island of Cuba, to prevent President Barack Obama close the detention center militar.AFP
At least 83 senators issued 100 voted to keep the Law of 2016 defense budget, where that restriction is reset. The House had approved last week by 370 to 58 to keep the ban on transfer, involving 112 Guantanamo detainees week.
