According to the latest estimates by the World Organization for Migration (IOM) to Sunday November 8th they had come to the EU 798 792 people.
"However, we estimate that figure has already been exceeded in the last hours and we have exceeded the threshold of 800,000," he said at a press conference Joel Millman, spokesman for the IOM.
Of that total, 653,075 came to Greece reached Italian shores 141,766, 3,845 arrived in Spain and 106 in Malta.
The organization has recorded at least 3,455 deaths of refugees and migrants who attempted to cross the sea and perished in the attempt.
