Two Air France flights bound for Paris was diverted on Tuesday, one of them due to a security incident, authorities reported.

The first flight was diverted AF65, operated by an Airbus A380, which had taken off from Los Angeles International Airport at 4:04 pm local time bound for Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The flight landed at the airport Salk Lake City International at 7:11 pm local time.
A US official told CNN that the flight was diverted after a bomb threat was made from earth.
A second flight was diverted AF55, which departed Washington Dulles Airport bound also to Charles De Gaulle. The flight, operated with a Boeing 777-300, landed at the airport in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at 10:15 pm local time, said Peter Spurway, vice president of the airport. The 298 passengers and crew were transported to the terminal.
