US oil stocks up 3.4 million barrels

Oil reserves in the US rose last 3.4 million barrels, 0.7% to 480 million week, said the Energy Department in its report that country weekly.

The figure is higher than expected by analysts who had forecast a rise of 1.6 billion barrels.

Once you know the data, the price of a barrel of Texas oil (WTI) benchmark in the US for December delivery rose $ 2.55 to settle at $ 45.75.

On the other hand, imports of crude from the past four weeks stood at 7.222 million, 3.8% below the same period last year.



Gasoline stocks fell for the week ended Oct. 23 by 1.1 million barrels, 0.5%, and fixed at 218.6 million, above the average for this time of year.

The heating oil stocks, meanwhile, fell by 3 million barrels, down 2% to 142.1 million.

Refineries worked at 87.6% of installed last week, compared with 86.4% of the previous capacity.

These figures exclude the Strategic Petroleum Reserve Government, which remained unchanged at 695.1 million barrels.

The total reserves of crude and refined products, including the Strategic Reserve, reached last week 1999.9 million barrels, below 2003.6 million barrels from the previous week.
