Present the new £ 5 note, made of plastic and with the image of Churchill

The Bank of England introduced the new bill 5 pounds (6.5 euros, 7.2 dollars), which will carry the image of Winston Churchill and is the country's first plastic made Thursday.

The ticket will flow from September and will be made with polymer, a thin plastic film and flexible that is more durable and harder to fake than paper, which is already used in Australia and Canada.

The ticket was presented at the ancestral home of the Churchill, Blenheim mansion, where the leader was born, near Oxford in the south.

The Bank of England governor, Mark Carney, recalled the fighting spirit of who was prime minister during World War II and said that money is a form of "memory for a country and its people."

Ticket is a famous quote from Churchill (1874-1965) of World War II: "I have nothing to offer but blood, hard work, tears and sweat."
