Five people die in a fire in a building in Los Angeles
Five people died in a fire at a building in Los Angeles (USA), reported Tuesday the Los Angeles Times, which also said that the police arrested an individual as a possible author of the fire.
Firefighters arrived on Monday at seven p.m. (0200 GMT) to the number 2411 Eighth Street Los Angeles, where a building that was supposed to be abandoned, was in flames.
The fire took place very near MacArthur Park Californian city, a very densely populated area with a significant presence of people living on the street.
Initially, authorities reported a vagrant who had died because of the fire, but police reported that sniffer dogs had found four bodies, probably homeless, from the rubble of the damaged building.
NBC said security forces arrested Johnny Sanchez, 21 and bum, as suspected of having started the fire.
