FIFA announced the referees who led football tournaments in Rio 2016
FIFA announced Monday relationship referees for matches of soccer tournaments the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016. EFE
The men's tournament will initially be led by referees and 32 assistants sixteen, although support is also listed as the Peruvian Diego Haro and Ghanaian Joseph Lamptey.
CONMEBOL bring the Argentine Nestor Pitana, the Brazilian Sandro Ricci and Ecuadorian Roddy Zambrano; CONCACAF Walter López Guatemalan and Mexican Arturo Cesar Ramos; AFC to Saudi Fahad Al Mirdasi, the Iranian Alireza Faghani and Japanese Ryuji Sato; CAF Malagn Senegalese Diedhiou and Egyptian Ghead Grisha; OFC New Zealander Matt Conger; UEFA and the Spanish Antonio Mateu Lahoz, Cuneyt Cakir Turkish, Romanian Ovidiu Hategan, Russian Sergey Karasev and French Clement Turpin.
Twelve are designated for women's collegiate tournament. In the AFC are Rita Gani (MAL) and Ri Hyang Ok (KOR); CAF Gladys Lengwe (ZAM); by Carol Anne Chenard CONCACAF (CAN) and Lucila Montes Venegas (MEX); Marilin by CONMEBOL Olga Miranda (PAR) and Claudia Inés Umpierrez (URU); OFC by Anna Marie Keighley (NZL); and UEFA Teodora Albon (RUM) Frappart Stephanie (FRA) Monzul Kateryna (UKR) and Esther Staubli (SUI). In support include Melissa Borjas Pastrana Honduran and Chilean Maria Carvajal.

Olympic football tournaments will be played between 3 and 21 August at the headquarters of Belo Horizonte, Manaus, Brasilia, Salvador, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, whose legendary Maracana Stadium will host both finals.
