King Philip about to dissolve parliament
King Philip VI closes its round of consultations to try to propose a prime minister, with meetings with the chief executive in office, Mariano Rajoy, and the leaders of the Socialists (PSOE), Pedro Sanchez, Podemos (left), Paul churches and Citizens (liberal), Albert Rivera.
With them finish their third round of interviews to verify that there is no candidate with sufficient support to undergo an endowment after the results of the elections on 20 December.
Concluded meetings today, Felipe VI confirm whether or not there is a candidate and, if it has not conclude that it is necessary to dissolve parliament and hold new elections.
The call, according to mark the Spanish legislation would be on 2nd May, two months after the first vote failed investiture, and elections would be held on June 26.
Both Rajoy and Sanchez moved to the monarch who do not have support for the investiture and will be necessary to go back to the polls for citizens to decide how to unblock the situation.
In recent days, all political parties have accused each other of being responsible for this situation, unprecedented since the restoration of democracy in Spain in 1978.
