Rousseff supporters to the streets again expected outcome of trial


Supporters of suspended Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, returned to the streets in a new day of demonstration in support of the president, who faces trial in the Senate with a view to his dismissal arriving Wednesday to an end.

Several of the protesters Rousseff supporters, carrying signs supporting the head of state and rejection messages to the government of interim President Michel Temer.

Then the protesters marched to the Roosevelt Square, to where it was authorized route, but wanted to continue towards the headquarters of the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo, in the center, and were prevented by the police, who fired tear gas and arrested two participants who confronted them.

Rousseff is accused of allegedly committing tax maneuvers to disguise the reports of public accounts in its management of 2014 and 2015.

The Senate must vote Wednesday on the dismissal of Rousseff and if it is definitively removed from office, his second term, which runs until January 1, 2019, will finish Temer.
