Author of the attack in Turkey would be a "jihadist" EI

The terrorist attack in Turkey is the work of "a kamikaze between 12 and 14 who blew himself up or carrying explosives detonated remotely," said Sunday Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He also reiterated that the author of the attack that left at least 50 dead, would be a member of the jihadist group Islamic State (EI).

"Come where terror comes, it does not change anything for us."

Erdogan reported that 69 people remain hospitalized and 17 are in critical condition. "As a nation, we will use all our strength, together, hand in hand, to fight against terrorism as we did on July 15," he added referring to the failed coup.
