At least 120 members of the terrorist group Islamic State (EI) died between Saturday and Monday in a failed offensive against radicals areas under Kurdish control in northern Syria, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
The NGO said that extremists were killed by shelling of the international coalition led by the US and fighting against Protection Units People, during their attack against the population of Tel Abiad and surrounding areas in the north of the province of Al raqa.
In the clashes were also lifeless kurdosirios 29 fighters.
On 27 February, EI launched an attack on the city of Tel Abiad and its periphery, located on the border with Turkey, which has been repelled by Kurdish forces, who have wrested the jihadists areas taken during the attack as Abu Hamam and Jusura.
