American Airlines (AA) and Uber have announced a partnership to
facilitate the transport of passengers by nearly a dozen US airports
such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington and New York.
In a joint statement, the two companies have said they will work together to provide consumers with faster service on arrival and departure airports and many very beneficial promotions for travelers.
Airline customers can set a reminder to use Uber. At the time of booking the company will send a confirmation e-mail and the customer can select the icon 'Remember Uber' to remember on your trip.
The application of AA has also included the navigation function to guide users in the airport to the nearest point of Uber collection in eleven airports across the country: Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles International, and two in New York.
It is also available at airports in Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, San Jose and Washington.
In addition, AA offers a coupon Uber $ 25 (22 euros) to the members of its loyalty program AAdvantage Executive Platinum having that status on 1 March.
