The UK economy grew 2.2% in 2015, below expectations, according to today said the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
The ONS said the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased 0.5% in the fourth quarter, compared with an increase of 0.4% in the previous three months, as it released the first of three estimates.
The corresponding 2015 economic growth is lower than in 2014, of 2.9% and is the lowest in three years, according to the ONS.
