5.8 magnitude earthquake recorded in Japan

On Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.8 to 172 kilometers south-southeast of the southern city of Nishinoomote, Japan was recorded.

The quake occurred about 11 pm (local time) and was located 10 kilometers deep, according to the US Geological Survey, USGS.
