A toxic gas leak in a storage Localfrio company, located in the town of Guaruja (Sao Paulo, Brazil) has led to the hospitalization of about 40 people, reports AP.
The fire department Guaruja announced the presence of a huge toxic cloud, as a result of the chemical reaction caused by the leaking of rain, in a container where tanks were stored with chlorinated sodium isocyanurate.
The mayor of the city, Maria Antoinette de Brito, said the gas could cause skin irritation, burning sensation, fainting and breathing difficulties.
