The Argentine deputy and former Economy Minister Axel Kicillof question the decision of the Government of Mauricio Macri to remove restrictions on the purchase of dollars, a move he described as "devaluation" today.

Kicillof, who was finance minister in the last two years the government of Cristina Fernandez (2007-2015), considered that the ad is "quite orthodox in line with what always raised the International Monetary Fund (IMF)."
Finance Minister Macri, Alfonso Prat-Gay, announced today that starting tomorrow will lift the so-called "dollar trap" and can be accessed currency without prior authorization from the Treasury.
