Twelve handmade explosive devices were found in the home of the couple who killed 14 people on Wednesday in California, in the worst slaughter in the US in the past three years, police said Thursday.
Three other handmade explosive devices attached to each other and capable of being remotely operated were located in the building that was the target of the attackers. But those explosives failed to explode, said local police chief, Jarrod Burguan, at a press conference.
