A transsexual was found dead with totally disfigured face in his apartment in Tokyo, said Friday the police and the press local.AFP
Yoshi Tsuchida, 38, seemed to have the face cut with a knife or other cutting instrument, said a police spokesman.
His adoptive son 28, whose name was not released, made the gruesome discovery to return to the apartment they shared in the western outskirts of Tokyo, Japan's Jiji Press said.
The young man fell asleep, but then discovered his father disfigured and covered with a plastic bag head. "When I woke up, my father was bleeding from the face," he said, as quoted by the agency Jiji.
The Sankei newspaper said the dead man was a woman who underwent a sex change operation. His son had been treated with female hormones, the newspaper said.
In the past there were violent incidents between the two, the newspaper Sankei, and the police were alerted by the screams and the noise they made to fight.
Investigators on Friday were examining the case, in particular the "suspicion of mutilation of a corpse", told AFP a spokesman for the Tokyo police.
